On Monday evening this week, 26 of our year 12 students took part in training to become Youth Mental Health First Aiders. They learnt how to recognise the signs and symptoms of poor mental health or mental illness and how to help individuals access the appropriate professional support or sign-posting.
All the students engaged very positively with the themes in the training and their commitment to break the stigmas of mental health is part of the wider commitment from DLD College London to support each other.
