Lily June P is celebrating exceptional academic results today, following her graduation from DLD College London.
Lily June has achieved an impressive A*AAB in Psychology, English Literature, Biology, and Mathematics in her A level results and has now secured a much-coveted place at the University of Oxford to read English Language and Literature.
Lily June reflected on this fantastic achievement: “I’m really happy with my results, I worked very hard to meet my offer, so this is a huge relief. I had a great time at DLD, my teachers were endlessly supportive and really helped me to succeed. I’m excited to take the next step and study English at Oxford.”
Commenting on Lily June’s success, James Kidd, Senior Vice Principal (incoming Principal from September) at DLD College London said: “Lily June is a diligent student and we are very proud of her for these fantastic results. Her accomplishments reflect the enthusiasm to learn and determination that she has showcased during her time at DLD, alongside the first-class academic and pastoral support that she has received from our dedicated team members.”
He added: “It is fantastic to celebrate the achievements of our students one last time before they progress onto some of the top universities in the UK, Europe, and the US. The last few years have seen a move nationally to see results back to 2019 levels, after the pandemic years; whilst we are seeing the effects of this, I am pleased that we have not only matched those levels but increased our A* attainment rate! It is a testament to our student’s hard work, the excellent staff we have and the diversity of thought and skill of our students.
The variety of courses students are going onto study range from Zoology to Engineering, from Pharmacology to Computer Science, and from Fine Art to Business Management and all that’s in between. It is exciting to know that graduates of DLD College London will be pursuing a range of fields and carry their success here forward in their future studies. Everyone at DLD, wishes them every success and can be proud of the role we’ve played in developing these talented students and the positive impact they will undoubtedly have!”
