Students have been flexing their creative skills this half term, with Matin R being ‘highly commended’ in the ISA Arts Shakespeare Competition, our school band ‘The Basement People’ (Alina S, Alisa S, Mark B and Efim P) entering the ISA Arts Band Competition and Arman A was nominated in the ISA Ancient Egyptian Art Challenge. We also celebrate the success of bibliophile Lily P who became the first student to complete the ‘Ten Book Challenge’ set by Cathy David and Simon Pearson…an excellent achievement!
Several trips also took place with our Esports team visiting a professional tournament at the Copper Box, no doubt inspiring the students to hone their skills further to become even better themselves! Our boarders participated in The Big London Bake where they donned their aprons to bake easter biscuits, showing great teamwork in the process. In keeping with the creative theme, our Year 12 photography students were invited by the Savannah College of Art and Design to the Photo London Digital Fair where they were treated to a range of Photographers, Publishing Houses and Galleries works. Creativity is a key tenet to the Co-curricular programme, and we strive to encourage this in all students throughout their time with us.
