Result: DLD 21 – 8 ACC
POTM: Tajera
On a beautiful sunny Saturday morning, DLD College London hosted Abbey College Cambridge in the first ever Netball match between the Colleges. As both teams have been in the developmental phase of the sport due to their inception only being this year it was going to be interesting to see the level of both teams. The match itself was played with great intensity but DLD proved to be stronger on the day winning by a comfortable margin. The attitude and comradery between the girls was lovely to see and we look forward to making this a regular in the fixture calendar. Well done to Ella, Millie, Tajera (Captain), Tia, Lauren, Emily and Colette. Thanks also to Abbey College Cambridge for travelling down from Cambridge.
