BTEC Business Students visit Waterloo Foodbank

A group of inquisitive DLD College London Year 12 BTEC Business students paid a visit to Waterloo Foodbank to find out more about the work that they do and the community that they serve. The manager, Rebekah, showed the students some of the food donations and explained how food parcels are distributed to people in crisis. She also explained that the Food Bank offers other vital services such as providing debt advice, counselling and job support.
The students were so inspired by the visit that they intend to launch a food drive in the next few weeks to encourage the DLD community to support our neighbours in need.
