DLD College London students showcased their array of impressive talent and skill at the recently held annual Winter Concert.

Hosted at the iconic St Marylebone Parish Church, not only did the students delight with a variety of performances but they were given individual awards to celebrate their exceptional achievements.

Master of Ceremonies, Michael Brett welcomed guests to enjoy the students’ theatrics. Students, alumni, parents and teachers gathered in unison to support the highly anticipated annual concert and were entertained by an assortment of acts from harpists and pianists to classical Shakespeare readings.

Principal, Rachel Borland commented: “We have seen some brilliant talent, the concert is designed specifically to recognise the students who have excelled in giving an outstanding contribution to the college. We do not just focus on academic success it is also about developing and pushing yourself and enjoying the journey. “This concert is about renewal, rebirth, restoration, revival, regeneration and resumption. It is our turn now to renew our energy, determination and motivation for 2016.”

During the concert a collection was also made for The Marylebone Project, a charity run by the Church Army to help vulnerable homeless women.
