The value of boarding in sixth form colleges

Rachel Borland, Principal at DLD College London is a strong advocate of the value of boarding in sixth form colleges in the UK. Speaking to John Catts School Search this week, she said “It’s an experience that builds the foundations for future successes.”
Rachel said that in her experience boarding helps to establish lifelong bonds of friendship, tolerance and co-operation, which she says are the building blocks of relationships throughout life, as well as increasing efficiency which can only lead to better academic results.
