Baroness Pauline Perry to Join Alpha Plus Board of Governors

We are delighted to announce that Baroness Perry of Southwark will be joining the Board of Governors of the Alpha Plus Group.
Lady Perry has a distinguished career as an educationalist, a Conservative Party Whip in the House of Lords and member of the House of Lords. She served as Chief Inspector of Schools in England, as Vice-Chancellor of Southbank University and President of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge. She also holds 7 honorary Doctorates and 6 honorary Fellowships.
Her recent roles include include Pro-Chancellor of Surrey University, Chair of the City and Guilds Quality and Standards Committee, Chair of Governors and Trustee of Roehampton University, President of the Foundation for Higher Education and of the Council for Independent Education and Trusteeships of the Cambridge University Foundation and of Bacon’s City Technology College. She is currently chairing the Free schools and Academies Commission for the London Borough of Wandsworth, and is Board Member of the Center for Global Understanding at Mercy College, New York.
Lady Perry will also become Honorary President of DLD College, one of the Alpha Plus schools, founded in 1931.
Lady Perry will bring exceptional experience and understanding to the Alpha Plus Group.
