Year 9 students enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to London Zoo this week, where they had the opportunity to explore a wide range of animals from across the globe.
Throughout the day, students encountered an impressive variety of wildlife, including giraffes, monkeys, exotic birds and butterflies. As they moved through different enclosures and habitats, they observed animals up close while learning about their behaviours, environments and conservation.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experience, encouraging curiosity about biodiversity and the importance of protecting wildlife. Highlights included the vibrant butterfly house and the chance to see some of the zoo’s most iconic species.
Year 9 represented the school brilliantly, showing enthusiasm, curiosity and respect throughout the trip. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and a memorable experience for everyone involved, and we look forward to sharing more opportunities like this in the future.
