DLD College London BTEC Media Year 12 students went on a trip to the BFI to take for an educational screening of the film 1985. The film was being shown as part of a programme showcasing a range of LGBTQ cinema.
DLD College London staff and students will be participating in a 5k or 10K charity run in order to raise money for Evelina London Children’s Hospital this Sunday 10th March. Evelina Hospital is just across the road from DLD College London and we are proud to help fund life-saving equipment and life-changing research for young patients in their care.
On Tuesday 5th March the College celebrated shrove Tuesday with the first ever DLD College pancake race, involving runners racing around the balcony area of the atrium, while flipping a pancake in a frying pan to achieve the quickest possible time.
DLD College London marked the official opening of our new library this week on World Book Day 7th March. The guest of honour Philip Marshall, the Director of the London Library, cut the ribbon and announced the library to be officially open.

DLD College London student Amirezza Nanaei spent 4 days (20 hours) of volunteering at Ambition Aspire Achieve, a charity organisation. This lovely charitable event was a Christmas Appeal during which Amirezza had to prepare gifts for families who could not afford presents for their children.
