New Scientist Visit

Last week DLD students attended the New Scientist Live 2019 event at the ExCel centre, which showcased over 120 incredible talks and inspiring speakers across 7 stages. There were more than 150 exhibits and lots of interactive experiences showcasing the greatest innovations, technologies and research in the world right now.
Our students got to hear a talk from Tim Peake, interact with robots, see a planet rover, speak to scientists about the future farming, observe samples of elements in the periodic table and heard from a speaker about how technology might be integrated into humans in the future. We are already looking forward to attending in 2020!
