DLD Charity Netball Match Raises Funds for Pink Ribbon Foundation

10th April 25

DLD College London recently hosted a thrilling charity netball match between a team of students and a combined staff and alumni side, all in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by breast cancer.

The match drew enthusiastic support from across the DLD community, with spectators gathering to cheer on both teams and contribute to the important cause. On the court, the student team  showed their experience as working as a team regularly, securing a 15-2 victory, but the real winner of the day was the spirit of generosity and fun that brought everyone together.

Thanks to donations and match-day fundraising activities, the event raised over £200 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. The funds will go towards vital support services, research, and raising awareness of breast cancer across the UK.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, donated, and supported this fantastic event. It was a brilliant afternoon of sport, community, and charity—showing once again the power of coming together for a great cause.
