Today we marked a milestone moment as students, staff, and families gathered at Central Hall Westminster for a heartfelt Graduation Ceremony — a celebration filled with pride, reflection, and a sense of possibility.
It began as ever with an iconic DLD tradition: the walk across Westminster Bridge, with the Thames glistening below and the skyline — from Big Ben to the London Eye — offering a fitting backdrop to a moment of transition.
Laughter, photos, and the buzz of excitement filled the air as graduates marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
The event’s keynote address was delivered by Dr Zandie Ndlovu MBA DProf, an influential leadership expert whose career spans more than three decades across financial services and higher education in both the UK and South Africa.
Dr Ndlovu spoke about navigating transitions with courage and intention as she encouraged our leavers to embrace uncertainty as a catalyst for growth.
Our leavers also heard from former Heads of School Rehaan and Shawna, who thanked DLD staff before closing with inspiring messages of “embracing the unknown” and to “be brave and not fear failure” as their peers get ready to take their next steps in life.
We wish all of our leavers the very best of luck with their exams, and hope they can enjoy the Summer before starting the next chapter of their academic journey.
