UCAS Create Your Future Trip

On Tuesday, our Film and Media students had an exciting experience at the UCAS Create Your Future event at ExCel London! They connected with admissions tutors, students, and lecturers from top universities like Royal Holloway, Westminster, and Bournemouth Arts, as well as specialists from renowned schools like Met Film and National Film School. The event offered invaluable insights into how to build standout portfolios and what admissions teams are looking for in future students, giving them a clear advantage as they prepare their applications.
Students shared their feedback reflecting on the day and their main takeaways. Kyra G, Film and Media Student (BTEC) said, “It was an extremely useful way of getting to know what I want to do further along the line it was helpful because I now have a broad idea of what to expect.’
Isabella A, Film and Media Student (BTEC) commented, “It was useful because it made me become clearer about my choices, and I got all my answers from the universities I spoke to, which is something online research couldn’t provide.”
Anna E, Film and Media Student (A Level) said, “I have a better understanding of which universities will help me achieve my goals in the future.”
It is great to hear the impact this trip had on our students, emphasising the value of the experience and the clarity it provided for future planning.
