Staff vs Students Charity Netball Match

21st March 24

On Wednesday 20th March, we headed over to our local Archbishops Park to watch the annual Staff vs Students Charity Netball Match. I’m sure those who attended this inaugural event will agree it was fantastic!

A high level of netball was on display with our current student team showing how far they have come in a short space of time, comfortably beating the Staff/Alumni team. The final score was DLD Student Netball Team 26-7 DLD Staff and Alumni Team.

This event was in aid of the charity The Pink Ribbon Foundation  who provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment. The team chose this charity as part of International Women’s Month.

We are asking for one final push to reach our target – to donate, you can do so HERE .  All contributions appreciated.

Well done to all involved and a special mention to Jess for organising the event and the netball team for their tremendous victory.

We’re already looking forward to next year!
