Boarding Student ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon

5th April 23

A huge congratulations to international boarding student, Alborz M, who ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

Alborz is a keen runner and goes out for a run most days as part of his daily routine. On this occasion, he went on his usual morning run only to notice that the half marathon was taking place and so he asked if he would be able to join in. Alborz ran the race around Westminster and the City in a total of 2 hours 46 seconds.

The half marathon is an event organised by Tommy’s Baby Charity and participants run in aid of many partnering charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The British Heart Foundation and many more. Unlike any marathon, the route takes runners around London, taking in the sights and landmarks this amazing city has to offer!

Well done Alborz, we are sure this is the start of many marathons to come and good luck for the next one!
