England vs Germany
A trip to Wembley to watch England vs Germany kicked off our trips programme for the year.
After a sombre but fitting tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Wembley roared on the Three Lions hoping to witness a first win in the Nations League.
The first half lacked action and quality between the two World cup-bound rivals, students grew increasingly eager to witness a goal under the famous arch, however, we headed into the break at 0-0. It was a game of two halves, and their prayers were answered with a six-goal thriller in the second half. A captivating experience for all, especially those who were visiting a stadium for the first time.
A glimpse of hope for England and our soon to be World Cup venture, and if Sepehr is singing “it’s coming home” then maybe it might just be our year… As England turn their heads to Qatar, we turn our heads to our next boarding trip – Tulleys Shocktober Fest, Europe’s largest scream park. Now that’s a treat!
