GCSE Students achieve exceptional summer 2022 results

GCSE results for 2021 are exceptional for a non-selective school, showing significant increases on 2019’s results when students last sat invigilated examinations.

An outstanding 94% of results are graded 9 to 4 – an increase of 26% on 2019. 69% of results obtained are graded 9 to 6 up 30% on 2019, 49% graded 9 to 7 an increase of 22% on 2019, and 78% graded 9 to 5, an uplift of 26% on 2019’s results.

A notable 32% of students  achieved five or more grades 6 to 9 and 22% achieved five or more grades 9 to 7, while 15 % of students secured all grades 9 to 7.

One high-achieving student Egor, secured a phenomenal six grade 9s at GCSE and a Distinction* in BTEC, the equivalent to a grade 9 at GCSE.

DLD College London Principal, Irfan Latif commented on this year’s GCSE results and said: “We are very proud of our students for their outstanding achievements.
