The news of our newly appointed Vice Principal (Academic), Dr Sarah Watson featured in Absolutely Education this week.

Day and boarding school DLD College London has appointed Dr Sarah Watson as Vice Principal (Academic). She joined early this year from the International School of Geneva, prior to which she was Head of College at King George V School, Hong Kong.

Dr Watson held the position of Vice Principal at the International School of Geneva, Switzerland for two-and-a-half years. Prior to this, she was Head of College at King George V School (part of English Schools Foundation) for a decade, and was a Head of Department at Wade Deacon School for three years. A Geography graduate from the University of Liverpool, Dr Watson also studied at University of Western Australia. Outside school, she is a keen explorer and hiker – her expeditions include a trip to Everest Base Camp – and is also a musician, performing globally in orchestras and bands.

Commenting on her new role Dr Watson says, “I am excited to have this opportunity to be a part of and contribute to the wonderful community at DLD College London. I am hugely passionate about education and supporting the development of young people, enabling them to become resilient, knowledgeable, innovative and compassionate members of society, and leaders of the future”. Principal, Irfan Latif added: “Sarah has considerable experience, a wealth of knowledge and will be a strong addition to our Senior Leadership Team”.
