Break The Bias and Celebrate Women’s History Month this March!

24th February 22

Here at DLD College London, there will be a two-week exhibition to celebrate Women’s History Month and bring awareness to the women in history who have fought for equality in society and for women of the future!

Cathy David and Tara Garden are curating the event which will be held in the Ehub from Monday 7th – Friday 18th of March. There will be contributions from students in Science, Psychology and Classics. Topics will include CCA Women in Leadership, notable women in science, and women in the ancient world.

International Women’s Day falls on Tuesday March 8  2022, and we want to know if you will join DLD to help #BreakTheBias?

IWD are involved in a number of missions that raise awareness and help to forge a gender equal world where women’s achievements are celebrated, and inequality is called out. You can find out more about IWD and their missions on their website and get involved to collectively #BreakTheBias.

If you want to get out and about to explore Women’s History Month in London, there are plenty of events taking place in the city. How about supporting the cause and learning more by:

  • Taking a trip to The Hen & Chicken Theatre to see the debut of Lal; all about the women who kept London going during the War!
  • Visit the South Bank Centre to explore the Women of the World Festival.
