Outstanding Success in the British Mathematical Olympiad

Year 12 Maths genius Ryan, from Vietnam, has received a Distinction in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 (BMO1), awarded to only the top 26% of the 1,000 participants who were invited to partake following their extremely high Gold Award results in the national UK Senior Mathematical Challenge. This result puts him in the very top level of young Mathematicians in the UK.
The BMO1 is over 3 hours and very difficult indeed!
This is an outstanding result given Ryan is only in Year 12 and was competing against many other Maths A Level students in Year 13 throughout the country.
