Lucky boarders witness historic football match

During the October half term holiday, the boarding students witnessed an historic game of football in front of an ecstatic sell-out crowd at London Stadium, home ground of West Ham United.
This match was for the Carabao Cup and holders Manchester City were knocked out after West Ham United won 5-3 on penalties – their first loss in the cup competition for five years! It was a tight-fought, thrilling end to end game with many chances created and one the boarders will never forget.
