Graphic Designer Cameron Visits DLD College London

On Friday, 26th January, we were visited by Cameron, a young graphic designer who works for ActivTrades in London. Cameron met with several of our students in the Art department here at DLD College London for an informal lunch. During the lunch students were given the opportunity to ask questions.

Cameron recently completed a degree in graphic design at the University of the Arts London before getting a job in this field. He was able to tell the students of his own experience of university life in general. He emphasised the need to be able to explain to lecturers the process that led to the completion of a piece of work rather than just talking about the finished product. He also talked about life after university and the need to promote yourself through your own website, social media and private work.

The students found this a valuable experience and asked many and varied questions. Further visits are planned for the future.
