Shanghai International School Visit

For the past two weeks at DLD College London, we have had the delightful pleasure of spending time with Huang Lina and Lin Ling who are two teachers from Shanghai Pinghe Bilingual School, in China.
They have spent time at both campuses, immersing themselves in the college and the culture of London. This is an annual visit and other staff have benefited in learning from DLD academic staff.
Shanghai Pinghe Bilingual School (SPBS), also known as Shanghai International School, is a leader in bilingual education in the vibrant international city of Shanghai, China, the largest city in the world.
When the Principal asked the visitors what had impressed them most about DLD, the response was, the high standard of teaching and the touchscreen IT boards. They have vowed to persuade their Principal to adapt and embrace more technology in their school in China.
They were also impressed with London and compared the price of a pizza, the air quality and the ease of London’s transport system all most favourably. Sadly the food in Chinatown did not measure up though!
