Results of the British Physics Olympiad Round 1

The official results of the British Physics Olympiad Round 1 are in, and we are proud to say that we have some very talented physicists in our midst.
This was an opportunity for DLD College London students to pit their wits against 1900 of some of the best physics students in the country. The Olympiad is significantly more difficult than the AS and A2 Challenge and certificates are awarded based on position compared to the other roughly 1900 entries.
Our team of six students performed admirably, with three achieving coloured awards – one Bronze and two Bronze II’s. The three remaining students received certificates of commendation for taking part.
