Students were fortunate enough to attend a sold-out Wembley stadium to watch England take on Malta. After participating in a fitting tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton, flags were waved at the ready with students excited to see the Three Lions play their final home game of 2023. For those who had never stepped foot in a stadium before, entertainment also came in the form of participating in the ‘Mexican Wave’ a regular occurrence at international games under the famous arch.
The game ended with a 2-0 win to England and many happy students!
