7 Awards in the 55th Annual Chemistry Olympiad

Ten DLD Chemistry students entered the 55th Annual Chemistry Olympiad. It is an annual challenge run by the Royal Society of Chemistry for KS5 students to put their skills and knowledge to the test in an intense two-hour examination. They were tested on physical, organic and inorganic disciplines with much content being beyond the A level syllabus.
With sheer determination, five of them achieved Bronze awards – congratulations to Chalisa, Anya, Stepan, Sean, Thalia. Two received Silver awards – A big well done to Michelle and Artur.
The Chemistry Department are truly proud of this outstanding achievement.
