100% A*-A EPQ Results

8th March 23

DLD College London has yet again achieved an exceptional set of Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) results with 100% students receiving  A*-A grades.

Vice Principal (Academic) Dr Sarah Watson said of the achievement,

“A huge congratulations to Mufeng Chen, Akim Komarnitskii and Kilian Wiedemann for achieving the highest grades of A* and A for the prestigious EPQs. Taking on an EPQ requires high level skills of research, analysis and evaluation, as well as organisation, time management and determination.

Students who choose to pursue an EPQ need to be highly motivated. This qualification is highly valued by the top universities due to its rigour and high level of student ownership and independent study. My congratulations and admiration go to Mufeng, Akim and Kilian for their dedication and achievement.”

EPQ allows committed students to design and plan their own research project and carry this out independently with limited direct hands-on guidance from supervisors. It also allows them to experience how academic work is conducted at degree level – giving A-Level students a foretaste of undergraduate research.

Congratulations to all of our students on these excellent set of results!
