Educational Advisors Visit DLD

If you put a group of sixteen educational experts around one table, you can be sure that a lively debate will ensue! We were delighted to welcome friends from The Good Schools’ Guide, Gabbitas, Panoba and GMA Education (to name just a few) for an introduction to our ground-breaking curriculum for Year 9.
Our Vice Principal Academic, Dr Sarah Watson, spoke with passion about the need to teach children a broad range of skills as they approach the GCSE years, but to do this in an age-appropriate way. We talked about health and wellbeing and the importance of cross curricular learning. We are proud of the innovative approach at DLD and we love hearing the views of those who work with families from a wide range of countries and backgrounds. We hope to host another such event very soon.
