Business Student writes article for Young Reporter

DLD College London student, Ishaan P, wrote the following article for the Young Reporter segment of This is Local London.
When speaking to Ishaan about his reasons for writing the article, he told us;
As Business students we write up reports and we analyse so robotically, this article is not just about a business owner it is so much more than that.
“It acknowledges a business owner who has worked for nearly 2 decades with no investment from anyone and someone who is completely self-made. For me personally, I’ve pushed myself all my life in sport, drama, music etc. and I have struggled with belief that I can write words that inspire. I decided to take the plunge in my last year of Sixth Form to sign out my school life with knowledge that I can do that”.
At DLD, we encourage our students to test their boundaries and push themselves out of their comfort zone, while doing so in a safe and trustworthy environment that our school provides. Seeing students like Ishaan take on new challenges and develop his skills both personally and academically is a great example of how we prepare students for life after school.
