On Wednesday 2nd November, our BTEC and Media students, along with our Year 12 A Level Media students, attended a workshop at the Museum of Brands. The workshop, that focused on gender representation in advertising, demonstrated how society has been reflected through different forms of branding and print media. Afterwards, our students were fortunate enough to look around the Museum, viewing branded material from as far back as the Victorian period to the present day.
It was a fascinating visit and one that will put our students in a good position as they approach their assessments and mock examinations in the coming weeks and months. Well done to all that took part and a big thank you to the Museum of Brands for a wonderful afternoon.
