The Legacy of Thelma and Louise

As part of Women’s History Month, the Film and Media department screened a panel discussion of The Legacy of Thelma and Louise, which was part of the London South Bank University’s Trailblazing Women On and Off Screen conference in 2021.
The panel discussed why the film was important to them personally, how it deconstructed the male gaze and why Thelma & Louise is still relevant in the era of MeToo.
