Physics Trip to Cern

DLD College London Year 12 and 13 students enjoyed an enlightening visit to the Particle Physics Research Centre at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday and Tuesday this week.
They stayed on site and rubbed shoulders with an international community of some of the best Physicists in the world. They were given a tour of some of the most ground breaking experiments being developed today, in Switzerland France and Outer Space.
Flying out from City Airport our students had 24 packed hours in Geneva before heading back to DLD in time for dinner on Tuesday.
