DLD College London A Level Art Students Use New 3D Printer

DLD College London has invested in a state-of-the-art MakerBot 3D Printer as they continue to propel their technology offering for students.

Budding artists will now benefit from the highly advanced MakerBot 3D 5th generation printer so they can now transform their 3D designs into solid dimensional products.

The highly creative students and staff recently gathered in unison at the forward thinking college to run a series of interactive product demonstrations to put the pioneering technology to the test.

Rachel Borland, DLD College London Principal commented: “This latest technology addition is a significant investment for the college.

“Students from across our diverse creative art programmes will benefit from one of the most exciting new developments in technology. 

“Having access to a MakerBot 3D printer provides students and staff alike with endless opportunities. It is inspiring to witness this futuristic printer in action which is producing models which are fully representative of everyday life.”
