A Level and GCSE Music Trip to the Barbican

On Wednesday 12th November GCSE and A Level students from DLD College London went to The Barbican Centre to watch the BBC Symphony Orchestra play a range of 20th Century pieces.

These pieces included Bernard Herman’s terrifying score for the film ‘Psycho’, the cruel and dazzling music for the ballet  ‘The Miraculous Mandarin’ by Bela Bartok, and the sumptuous and jazzy ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ by George Gershwin. The orchestra sounded great and the students appreciated our prestige seats bang in the middle front of the circle.
