Clare Astor Workshop Wednesday 4th November.
Clare is a recent graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and came to DLD to teach our GCSE, AS and A2 music students different approaches to preparing for a performance. Apart from giving the students practical exercises to relax the body and voice, they were asked to visualise different performance scenarios and types of audiences. Clara Moscheta (A2 Music) said it was ‘helpful for the future’, Karolina Nevoina was ‘entertained’ and Melanie Harikrishna found it ‘invigorating’.
