Two exceptionally talented DLD College London students, Sintija Eisaka (19) and Huong Vu (18) have been praised for their outstanding exam results by Lord Lexden at the annual Council for Independent Education(CIFE) Academic Awards Presentation.
The annual ceremony was held in the Cholmondeley Room in the House of Lords, with President of the CIFE Lord Lexden presenting the awards for academic excellence to 38 CIFE college students who achieved outstanding results last summer.
The CIFE College Prize, which is awarded to each college’s top student, was presented to Huong for DLD College Belgravia after she achieved outstanding results in her A-Levels, which included A* grades in her four A-Levels; Accounting, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics.
Sintija was also awarded the College Prize for DLD College Marylebone for achieving an impressive A* in her Mathematics, Russian and Economics A-Levels, as well as an A grade in Business Studies.
Principal at DLD College London, Rachel Borland, said: “I am thrilled for both Sintija and Huong, as it has been their enthusiasm for learning, hard work, and dedication that has paid off to achieve such fantastic results in their A-Levels last year. They both are very deserving of this recognition and we at DLD College London wish them all the best for the future.”
