5th Annual DLD College London 6th Form Field Study

From March 11-14^th DLD’s Geography department, in collaboration with Portland Place School embarked upon their 5^th Annual A Level Field Study, this year taking in the beautiful scenery of Malham Tarn in North Yorkshire.  23 students were escorted by Courtney Love-Weeden, Imogen Riley and Simon Ruggerio, where studies of  hydrosere succession, fluvial processes and rural environments were conducted.  In addition, students were able to visit the famed Malham Cove, an 80 metre high and 300 metre wide crag of carboniferous limestone formed after the last ice age.
