Debating Matters Championships

DLD College London recently took part in the Debating Matters Championships, one of the most prestigious debating competitions in the UK, at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Twelve schools battled it out for the crown of Debating Matters London South Champions. They tackled a number of difficult topics throughout the day.

Chris Lubbe was Nelson Mandela’s bodyguard for eight years, and always by his side as he continued on his mission to unite South Africa. DLD were delighted to welcome Chris to the college as the first keynote speaker of 2018. He gave a moving and inspirational talk to students and staff on the topic of discrimination.

New Principal for DLD College London

DLD College London recently announced the appointment of their new principal Irfan Latif. Mr Latif comes to DLD from Sexey’s School, Burton, where he was Headmaster for over four years.
