Continued Success for DLD Art Department at the Annual National ISA Art Competition 2023

On the 6th & 7th of November the annual ISA Art Awards took place, during the annual ISA Conference at Chesford Grange Hotel Kenilworth, and included our three regional first prize winners.
I am extremely pleased to report that our submissions resulted in 2 Second Place Awards – For Mariia K, Drawing, Key Stage 5, and for Margo W, Textiles Key Stage 5. This means that our 11 submissions at regional and national level have won 5 prizes this year.
I am extremely grateful to Ben Clements and my Art Department Colleagues, whose collective quality of teaching and their students’ achievements always allows us to submit an extremely strong and varied selection of work. I would also like to thank Andre Kristensen, the College Secretary, and Vida Manoo, our Receptionist and Administrator, for arranging and co-ordinating the delivery and collection of the artworks to and from the event.
