The Big London Bake School Trip

Once again, our trip to The Big London Bake (inspired by The Great British Bake Off), proved to be a hit amongst the boarding students. This time around, it was their challenge to create a three-tiered Easter biscuit cake.
Once instructions were received, students worked in pairs and started measuring out ingredients and planning what flavours and designs they intended to use. Teamwork really did make the dream work as the students cooked up some rather delicious treats to return to school with. Unfortunately, nobody from DLD was crowned bake off champion this year, but they were all champions on the day!
