The Sidings Business Development

Year 13 BTEC Business students took their learning outside of the classroom and to explore the new business developments around Waterloo Station. As the new development is a short walk from DLD College London, it was a good opportunity to make use of our surroundings and central London location, while discovering new changes and developments in our local area. Once completed, The Sidings will include cafes, restaurants and retail stores. Students applied their knowledge of workforce planning to think about how these different businesses would meet their short term and long term staffing needs and the impact these new businesses would have on the local area.
