Phenomenal BTEC Results Summer 2022

BTEC Diploma students at DLD College London have secured incredible results this summer 2022. A phenomenal 92% of grades were awarded at Distinction level (the equivalent to three A* to A grades at A Level), an increase of over 50% on 2019 (39%), and 100% of results were at Distinction or Merit (the equivalent to three C grades of above at A Level).
For the BTEC Business Diploma, a remarkable 100% of grades were marked as a Distinction, and 42% of BTEC Diploma students secured D2 passes, the equivalent of two A* and one A grade at A Level.
One student who excelled, Oliver Lyndon-Stanford, achieved all starred Distinctions – equivalent to three A* grades at A Level – in BTEC Business. Oliver is going to study Marketing at Bristol, University of the West of England.
Commenting on this year’s results, DLD College London Principal, Irfan Latif said: “We are immensely proud of our dedicated and diligent A Level and BTEC students. Their excellent results are a true testimony to their enthusiasm to learn and determination to succeed during their time with us, alongside the first-class teaching, pastoral care and support they have received from our staff members.
In addition to the BTEC Diploma success, BTEC Certificate students (equivalent to one A Level) have secured a 100% pass rate, including 20% of grades awarded at Distinction star (D*) and 50% of grades at Distinction or above.
