Boarders see top London show – Hamilton

20th January 22

DLD boarders were fortunate to see one of the favourite shows in London last weekend with a trip to see Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre. They all felt it was an amazing show with great songs and a little emotional at times.  The students (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed the performance (with one or two wanting to see it again). Principal Irfan Latif particularly valued the History lesson of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. Another unique learning opportunity for our students!
