Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

In June, over 6,300 Year 12 students sat this challenging but fun Chemistry competition sponsored by the University of Cambridge. This competition aims to stretch and challenge students interested in Chemistry by taking them significantly beyond the syllabus and encouraging them to think about science in the way they would at university, and provides an excellent experience for anyone considering taking their studies further.
Now that we are back in school, this week we awarded certificates for our winners in this prestigious national chemistry competition. A total of eight certificates have been achieved, 4 Copper and 4 Silver, which is the highest ever number of certificates achieved for DLD College London.
At the end of January 2021 our Year 13 students are looking forward to competing in the UK Chemistry Olympiad.
