The River Thames outside DLD College London

From the Principal #73

13th March 20

We are living in uncertain times globally due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it is a worrying and stressful time for many in our community. I therefore want to reassure you that our aim at DLD College London is always to put the best interests of our students first.

We are a place of education focused on creating unique learning opportunities which are delivered foremost by providing continuous academic and pastoral care. As such, therefore, whilst the guidance from the UK government is for schools to remain open, we are doing our utmost to ensure that we continue as normally as possible to ensure the students receive an uninterrupted education and are fully prepared for the summer exam season.

We have today sent an update to all parents, guardians, agents, staff and students to keep everyone informed of our current status and plans. As the situation changes, so too will our response but please rest assured that we have robust contingency plans in place which are aimed at ensuring that the education and care of all our students continues as seamlessly as possible.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support and as you will see from the news stories in today’s newsletter, school life continues very much as normal!
