Academic English Exam Success

Well done to all the Academic English students on their recent IELTS results. An impressive 99% of students made progress this year, 56% of whom improved by an outstanding 1.5 bands, and, of these, 32% progressed by at least 2.0 bands.
A number of A level and IFP students will be embarking on the next stage of their studies at University or Art College, while the Pre-sessional and year 11 students will be progressing to various courses here at DLD College, namely A levels, BTEC and IFP programmes. The year 10 students are eagerly awaiting the results of the recent Preliminary English Test, which are due to be published in July.
Congratulations to both students and teachers for making this all possible. We wish the students a restful summer and look forward to welcoming students in years 9-12 back in September.
