GCSE Economics offers students a great opportunity to learn about how everyday individuals, organisations and governments are faced with making economic choices in terms of how best to use the limited amount of resources that they have available.
GCSE Economics offers students the chance to be introduced to concepts related to Microeconomics enabling them to explore how markets function. Learners will also consider Macroeconomic theories helping reflect on how the economy of a country functions. In their second year of study, students focus on the convergence of markets and the issues that arise from this.
Economics is a fascinating subject to study, which is not only well respected but also extremely relevant to the real world. Throughout the course students will be able to develop their skills of analysis and evaluation as they learn to apply economic theory to different contexts.
