A Career in Art?

Just before the end of the autumn term more than 30 of our Year 13 Art, Graphics, Photography and Year 14 BTEC Students spent the day learning from the professional, internationally recognised artists: Turner Prize winner – Grayson Perry (ceramicist), Emma Hart (an installation artist incorporating sculpture, video and performance), Simon Roberts (a photographer) and Jock McFadyen RA (a painter). The students listened to the artists talk about their journeys to success and how to build a career in the Arts. They also got to ask questions about their working techniques, processes and inspirations behind their work.
