DLD Hosts First Alumni Reunion with Exclusive London Eye Experience

We proudly welcomed former students back to campus this week for the college’s first official alumni reunion, a landmark moment in the growth of the DLD Alumni Network.

The evening began with a relaxed drinks reception on the DLD patio, where alumni gathered with staff to reconnect, reminisce, and share their journeys since leaving DLD. For several attendees, this was their first time visiting the modern Westminster Bridge campus — having either studied virtually during the COVID‑19 pandemic or previously attended lessons at the former Marylebone site. Their reactions to our unique setting  sparked conversations about how far the school has evolved with many requesting tours as part of our next.

Following the reception, guests divided into three groups for a private experience on the London Eye, offering a memorable opportunity to enjoy panoramic views across the capital (including the school!). The success of this inaugural event marks the beginning of a renewed commitment to building a vibrant, global alumni community as well as build new connections with local prep schools and local businesses. We plan to build on this momentum and host more ‘Friends of DLD’ events in the next academic year, creating more opportunities for networking, celebration, and lifelong connection.
